Admission and campaign publications
The admission publications we created for The Winsor School in Boston won national gold from the Circle
of Excellence Awards sponsored by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).
The materials also won gold in the CASE Northeast District publications competition. Featuring text by
Winsor’s director of communications Joe Broughton and photography by Margaret Lampert, the publications
take a storytelling approach to conveying the personal, hands-on nature of the school’s learning environment.
Here’s a quote from one judge: “Finally, someone who gets it! People look at photos before they read.
Great headlines mean you don’t have to read all the text.” And another: “The two viewbooks, one for
parents and one for students, are both a scanner’s delight. The photos are engaging, active, and truly
indicative of the primary messages the school was trying to convey. But, if the scanner takes a moment
to read, the writing is exceptional.”

Recent work for Winsor has included a range of print materials created in support of The Winsor Promise
capital fundraising campaign. An announcement piece is bound to the outside of the alumnae magazine
and rolls open to reveal an at-a-glance introduction to the campaign. Also included are several pre-campaign
publications and an invitation to the kickoff celebration.
