Logo and brand identity
The foundation has a two-pronged mission: to preserve, exhibit and promote the artwork, Château and gardens of
Henry and Marie Clews in a striking setting on the coast of southern France, while also serving as an international
center for nurturing and inspiring the talents of contemporary artists. Our branding initiative brings together the
various marketing and outreach efforts of the organization on both sides of the ocean through a brand platform
that provides both flexibility and cohesiveness. The symbol is derived from a monogram that sculptor Henry Clews
carved into his works that are on view throughout the Château. Interchangeable wordmarks identify both
Foundation (U.S.) and Château (France) based initiatives while sharing color palette and overall design scheme.
